AG&P Industrial held a groundbreaking ceremony on July 24, 2026 for a new 85-hectare module fabrication yard in San Pascual, Batangas, Philippines. Once operating, the yard is designed to fabricate 80,000 metric tons of modules a year for projects across LNG, petroleum, clean and renewable fuels, power, refining, chemicals, and digital and industrial infrastructure. Senior AG&P Industrial executives and local government officials took part in the ceremony.
A new site after four decades in Bauan
AG&P Industrial's previous main plant, the Batangas Heavy Fabrication Yard in Bauan, Batangas, has anchored the company's work for more than 40 years and built some of the world's most complex modular and infrastructure projects. The Bauan yard is now shifting toward a role in the Philippines' national infrastructure development, and AG&P Industrial describes the San Pascual investment as the next stage in its own growth, meant to ease supply chain bottlenecks for fast-growing industries. President and CEO Alex Gamboa linked the milestone to the company's 126-year history. Managing Director Anupam Ahuja called the investment "the turning point, a transformative milestone" for the company's global delivery capacity.
Built for off-site fabrication
A module fabrication yard builds large equipment sections in a factory setting, then ships them to a project site for final assembly. AG&P Industrial says the San Pascual yard will run on Modstruction™, its own execution system, which moves work that would otherwise happen in the field into a controlled setting to cut costs and shorten delivery schedules. The site will include a dedicated wharf, assembly areas and a specialized load-out area with potential drydock capability. Construction is expected to start soon. AG&P Industrial's Gamboa said the yard gives the company the "ability to execute over half-billion-dollar value projects annually" from sites worldwide.
