Certarus placed a $100 million order for Hexagon Agility's Mobile Pipeline modules, the largest single order Hexagon Agility has received for the product, the company said July 6, 2026. Certarus, the North American leader in mobile compressed natural gas (CNG) supply, also holds an option to buy up to $25 million more in modules through 2028.

The order covers Hexagon Agility's existing TITAN 450 module and its newly launched TITAN 510, which carries 13% more gas volume than the TITAN 450. Certarus will use the units to expand its fleet and fill newly awarded contracts, including CNG supply for hyperscale data centers and other industrial customers, Hexagon Agility said. Mobile Pipeline modules move compressed natural gas by truck to sites that lack a fixed pipeline connection, a stopgap sometimes called a virtual pipeline.

Grid delays drive demand Data centers are among the fastest-growing sources of US energy demand as cloud computing and artificial intelligence workloads expand, while grid interconnection timelines frequently run past four years in many US regions, Hexagon Agility said. That gap is pushing data center operators toward flexible, interim gas delivery to support start-up power and keep essential systems running while permanent grid links catch up.

Certarus is the CNG division of Superior Plus Corp. (TSX: SPB) and operates what it describes as North America's largest network of portable compression, logistics, mobile storage, and on-site gas systems, serving industrials, utilities, oil and gas, mining, and data center customers.

Hexagon Composites CEO Philipp Schramm said the order extends a partnership with Certarus that runs more than a decade, with the company "remaining fully mobile and redeployable as our customers' requirements continue to evolve." Hexagon Composites flagged the order as inside information under EU market abuse rules.
