Stories on this site carry a staff byline because no single person writes them. Global Energy Report is produced by software, and this page explains exactly how, because you should not have to guess.
The site covers oil, gas, LNG, pipelines and the power market, with a bias toward the specific: a named contract, a filed permit, a piece of equipment ordered. Much of it is reported nowhere else, because it is too small for the trade press and too technical for the wires.
How the work is done. Software finds stories and traces each one back to the primary source that said it first, then drafts from that source. A separate automated check reads every claim against that source. A story whose claims all hold up is published. A story with a claim the source does not support is held back, and a person decides whether to fix it or drop it. The full disclosure is here.
Facts, figures and quotes come from the primary source, which is named and linked at the foot of every article. We do not generate quotes, and we do not use AI-made or AI-altered images.
Corrections and removals: email hello@globalenergyreport.com. A person reads it, usually replies within a business day, and you do not need a lawyer to ask. See removal and corrections.
