The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is proposing to reinstate competitive oil and gas lease WYW179793 in Converse County, Wyoming. The lease had been terminated, and the lessee filed a petition for reinstatement on time and met all the filing requirements under the Mineral Leasing Act of 1920, as amended. No other leases have been issued on the lands covered by WYW179793.
New terms
BLM is proposing to reinstate the lease under new terms:

The stipulation brings the lease in line with BLM's approved Resource Management Plan for the area. Both the rental and the royalty are increases over the lease's original terms, which otherwise carry over unchanged.
Effective date
BLM is proposing to make the reinstatement effective July 1, 2019, with the two-year extension running from the date the lease is actually reinstated. The lessee has paid the administrative fee required for reinstatement and has reimbursed BLM for the cost of publishing the notice in the Federal Register.
BLM cites Sections 31(d) and (e) of the Mineral Leasing Act (30 U.S.C. 188) and 43 CFR 3108.23 as its authority for the action. Sandra M. Blackburn, Branch Chief of BLM's Fluid Minerals Adjudication branch, signed the notice.
