PJM Interconnection has promoted Lisa M. Drauschak from senior vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer to executive vice president, CFO, treasurer and risk management, President and CEO David E. Mills announced Aug. 10.
The expanded role takes effect Sept. 2 and gives Drauschak direct oversight of the chief risk officer and the Risk Management Division. She has served as interim chief risk officer since March.
Mills said Drauschak's leadership has been "instrumental in ensuring continuity, maintaining strong oversight and supporting the Risk Management Division." He pointed to her credibility with PJM stakeholders and her commitment to operational excellence as reasons for the appointment.
A CFO role since 2020
Drauschak has been PJM's CFO since 2020. In that role she oversees the grid operator's budget and analysis, controllership, financial reporting, payroll, tax records, market settlements, procurement and treasury functions. She also manages PJM's external financial audits, including its SOC 1 audit, along with internal audit, and helps shape PJM's long-range financial strategies and business plans.
Since 2024, Drauschak has chaired PJM's Markets & Reliability Committee, which oversees PJM's wholesale electricity markets and the reliable operation and planning of the regional grid. She has also led initiatives on tax strategy, cost management and stronger Financial Transmission Right credit requirements.
Before joining PJM, Drauschak worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Advanta Financial Services. She holds a bachelor's degree in accountancy from Villanova University.
